Clay Stain Removal
Any tennis player will tell you that red clay spots and clay stains are among some of the most frustrating stains to remove from clothing. Once the stain has reached the fabric it seems like nothing will remove it. In fact, any type of clay stain can be a real pain, especially when they dry on your clothing and the clay sets. But have no fear as Vanish is on hand to help! Just follow the tips below and your clothes will be back to normal in no time.
HOW TO REMOVE CLAY STAINS
Vanish Power O2 Powder: Soaking: Dissolve one scoop of Vanish Power O2 Powder in 4L of warm water (max 40°) and soak the stained item. For coloured fabrics, soak for max 1 hour and whites for max 6 hours. wash as usual. For best results add one scoop of Vanish to your wash.
Important: Always follow the usage instructions on the Vanish packaging. Do not use on wool, silk or leather. Do not use on finished or coated surfaces - for example wood, metals etc.
Apply the gel directly onto the stain, wait 5 minutes and wash normally adding one dose (60ml) of Vanish Power Gel to your wash.
Soaking is recommended for tough and dried in stains. Add one dose (60ml) of Vanish Power Gel to 4L of warm water and soak the stained fabric, coloured item for max 1 hour whites for max 6 hours. Wash as usual or rinse thoroughly.

Removing Clay Stains - Handy Tips
If you don't have a Vanish stain removal product to hand then don't worry. We're still able to provide some handy hints on removing stains. Vanish will help you remove the stains even once they have dried-in.
- Remove dried clay with a dull knife or a spoon (or go outside and give the garment a shake). You may find you can remove material from both sides of the fabric.
- Wet the item under cold water and rub the remains of the stain, then leave it to dry.
- Then when you have Vanish, follow the instructions above to completely remove the stain.
